About Wolf hunting tour in Mongolia

Previous Entry Wolf hunting tour in Mongolia Oct. 29th, 2007 @ 09:36 pm Next Entry
I'd originally wanted to go to Mongolia for their horse-riding tours, but instead, I found this:

Wolf hunting tours.

I'm more than enraged by this, but being so far away (am in Singapore), I'm not sure what I can do to even try to stop this kind of tours, or this kind of practice.

Can anyone help? Or suggest something?

I don't think for a moment it's going to be easy. But I don't think I can just find out about this and do nothing...

"Mongolian people say that wolf hunting cheers up men."

This is outrageous and horrible. I'm not sure what can be done either. Perhaps writing a letter to the head of government could work, especially multiple letters. I'm all the way in the states so I'm not sure what I could do either.

Thank you for posting this.

You're welcome. I've crossposted it to various places and friends have helped me passed the word around also.

I was also thinking of starting a (online?) petition. Would that help, you think?

Re: wolf

And yes, I've heard of Wolf's Rain, but unfortunately, have absolutely no interest in the Japanese culture, so I wouldn't be able to tell you anything about that.
